There are NO county-wide or city elections in Oglethorpe County in 2025
The only election in Oglethorpe County in 2025 is for two positions on the Public Service Commission (PSC).
Public Service Commissioners are elected for six-year terms. There are 5 PSC Districts in Georgia. In 2025, Districts 2 and 3 are up for election. All GA Voters vote for all Public Service Commission seats.
The Public Service Commission protects consumers' interests while abiding by legal standards in setting fair and reasonable rates for electric power, natural gas and telecom services in Georgia. The Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) has exclusive power to decide what are Georgia citizens' need for reliable services and reasonable rates with the need for utilities to earn a reasonable return on investment.
